Ursula is an English/Spanish Certified Healthcare Interpreter™ with the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI), as well as an English and French into Spanish translator specializing in Human Resources and Workers Compensation. She received a French Baccalauréat in her native Bolivia before moving to the United States where she earned Associate in Arts degrees in Gerontology and Liberal Arts/Humanities and obtained the Professional Certificate in Translation and Interpretation at UCSD, Extension. She is also a member of the California Healthcare Interpreting Association (CHIA), the American Translator’s Association (ATA), the California Certified Medical Interpreters Association (CCMIA), and the Association of Translators and Interpreters of the San Diego Area (ATISDA), where she has been a Member at Large. She has over fifteen years of experience in the Human Resources fields and a passion for helping people communicate and understand one another.

Vicki Lundberg

Born and raised in the United States, graduated with a B.A. In Sociology, Vicki went to Honduras for 3 years as a Rural Health Educator during which time she came bilingual in Spanish. For ½ year subsequently, she worked for Immigration Canada and Secret Services as an Interpreter. Following several trips back to Honduras, she also worked as a Perinatal Case Manager / Health Educator /Lactation Consultant with Family Health Centers of San Diego, as well as teaching postpartum classes at Sharp Mary Birch. Another 10 years were spent in Honduras working with underprivileged and street children. Vicki began medical interpreting full-time in 2013 in Philadelphia in which most of the work was with 0-3 year old children receiving special in-home services as well as with the elderly. In 2014 she moved back to San Diego and has been working as a medical interpreter ever since, with almost 3 years of US Immigration Court interpreting as well as well as many years interpreting for disability hearings for the Social Security Administration.
